After the war, he was honorably discharged in 1866.

Rosa Ann Faulkner’s life was marked by love and dedication to her family, and she continued to reside in Garrard, Kentucky until her passing on May 15, 1913. She was laid to rest on May 17, 1913, in Paint Lick, Garrard, Kentucky, where her memory lives on.
